Thank you for attending the SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry.
Plan your attendance to other SPE events in your region or technical area.
Attendees: Access the Proceedings on OnePetro®
Biennially, the Society of Petroleum Engineers brings together engineers, scientists, and managers in the oil and gas industry to share the latest on oilfield chemistry applications and information.
Attendees explored emerging chemical technologies with a technical program that covered laboratory studies, simulations, and field applications. Read more from the program chairperson.
MEET THE KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Professor Anne Neville
University of Leeds
Anne Neville is a mechanical engineer with a specific interest in corrosion, tribology, and processes that occur at engineering interfaces. She graduated from the University of Glasgow and received her PhD in corrosion science/engineering. Neville was appointed lecturer at built at Heriot-Watt University, which led to being promoted to Reader and then to Professor. She is now the Director of the newly formed Institute of Functional Surfaces, which comprises 90 researchers. Neville was the first woman to be awarded the James Clayton Prize and Royal Society Leverhulme medal. In 2017, she was elected into the Royal Society for in recognition of her substantial contribution to the field of corrosion and tribology research.
