Thank you for attending the SPE Workshop.
Plan your attendance to other SPE events in your region or technical area.
Advanced technologies, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) and Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) complemented with scientifically-minded long-term strategies play a key role in meeting ever-increasing future energy demands.
On average, more than 70% of the world's oil remains in mature fields. Therefore, it is critical to continue to exploit new methods and techniques to extract the remaining oil.
This workshop focuses on how unique technology and novel recovery techniques will continue to become a more popular option for further developing brownfields, optimising operations, and driving cost-reduction initiatives to boost ultimate recovery.
This workshop is a platform for scientists, experts and industry professionals to share the latest technological advances on subsurface aspects while presenting topics such as different EOR techniques, innovative technology, case studies, monitoring and surveillance, reservoir conformance and tools to improve understanding of field performance.
Although the main focus is on the upstream industry, with the challenge to raise recovery factor to top quartile, many of the sessions take into account the need for a life cycle integrated subsurface and surface economical evaluation hence delegates have the opportunity to learn about recent innovations related to facility and production obstacles.
Attending this workshop further broadens your understanding of these ideas and processes, as well as giving you the chance to hear industry practitioners share and discuss latest best practices, opportunities and challenges encountered while exploring for and producing conventional and unconventional plays.
