SPE Workshop: Oilfield Geomechanics 26 - 27 Feb 2019 Renaissance Baltic Hotel Saint-Petersbourg, Russia

Thank you for attending the SPE Workshop.
Plan your attendance to other SPE events in your region or technical area.

Participation in the SPE Workshop: Geomechanics increased your understanding of how geomechanics can be applied in E&P and enhance exploration and development efficiency.

Despite the fact that the application of geomechanics in the oil and gas industry is relatively new, it is recognized as the fast-growing area.

Started from hydraulic fracturing and drilling operations improvements, it has spread to almost all parts of E&P and has become even more important for reserves estimation and field development.

Although the application of geomechanics in the oil and gas industry is relatively new, it has become a fast-growing area. Starting with hydraulic fracturing and drilling operations improvements, it has spread to almost all parts of E&P and become even more important for reserves estimation and field development.

Still, some geomechanics related issues have always been on the margins of the industry.

This year's workshop covered fundamental studies, core studies, including a digital core; we paid attention to new trends in geomechanical modelling; geomechanics application in E&P: from reservoir characterization to field development, oil recovery improvement, drilling and completion.
