How to Maximise Your Virtual Conference Experience
We are excited to have you join us for the SPE Virtual Norway Subsurface Conference.
With a virtual event, you will be able to replicate the experience of being at an ‘in-person’ conference with a lobby, technical session rooms, sponsor/exhibition and networking areas. You can be part of a secure, online experience from the comfort and convenience of your home or office.

Dates, Time and Length of the Conference
The SPE Virtual Norway Subsurface Conference experience:
- Will be 2 days of live access, 2 – 3 November 2020
- Sessions will go live at 10:00 local Bergen time /CET (UTC +1 )
- Content will be available on-demand for 30 days after the event
Access to the Virtual Conference
All registered attendees will receive an email from registration@online-event.co. The email will contain your unique credentials and password to begin your virtual conference experience.

Social Media
Chat about and follow the conference beforehand. Tweet during the event using #WeAreSPE and #SPEevents. Invite your friends, peers, and colleagues to join you at the conference.
When to First Access the Virtual Conference Platform
The secure virtual platform will go live on 2 November 2020 at 10:00 local Bergen time /CET (UTC +1 ).
How to Prepare for the Virtual Conference
From the virtual lobby, go to your user profile.
Add a photo and update your contact information to make your conference networking experience more engaging and memorable.

Technical Sessions
All technical presentations will take place live at their specified time at CET (UTC +1) and will remain available on-demand for 30 days post-event.

Explore ePosters for the latest information and knowledge sharing. Chat with authors during and after the conference.
Set up your own Agenda
At the top of the Lobby you will find the Event Agenda. This details all the upcoming Opening Panel, Technical Sessions and ePoster Presentations. You can save your favourite sessions to your personal agenda and you will receive an email reminder for your selected session.
Exhibition/Sponsor Area
Once you enter the Exhibit hall and choose a booth, you will have access to the exhibitor information, the exhibitor’s video, resources panel, their logo, and their interaction panel.
- Chat with the exhibitor and with other participants
- Schedule a 1:1 meeting with the exhibitor
- Send an email to the exhibitor (during and after the live conference)
- View and download resources
Networking Lounge

About Your Proceedings
You will have continual access to the proceedings of the technical conference on OnePetro®. Your unique access code is available in the registration email coming from londonprog@spe.org along with your credentials.
Papers will go live on the first day of the conference.
