SPE Workshop: Reservoir Characterization of Mature Fields — The Mexican Connection 8 - 9 Sep 2020 Quinta Real Villahermosa, Mexico

Due to ongoing global public health concerns and following extensive consultation with our key partners and stakeholders, the SPE Workshop: Reservoir Characterization of Mature Fields — The Mexican Connection has been rescheduled to 8–9 September 2020 at the Quinta Real Hotel in Villahermosa, Mexico.

SPE is committed to delivering rich technical programs with participants from around the globe. We will be contacting all speakers, sponsors, and attendees with regards to the new arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding of these complex circumstances.

This SPE workshop will evaluate current projects and technologies which can be deployed to improve production, recovery, cost-effectiveness and profitability. Case histories will include production operations, reservoir characterization, IOR/EOR studies, heavy oil cases, and strategies for well intervention (i.e., workovers).

While the emphasis of this workshop will be on projects and technologies relevant to Mexico, the presentations and discussions provided in this workshop will have a global context.  As is often the case, the reservoir characterization activities used to support primary recovery are insufficient and perhaps even inappropriate for secondary recovery/EOR activities.
