SPE/EAGE Virtual Workshop: Advances in Reservoir Characterisation and Modelling 6 - 8 Oct 2020 Virtual Workshop [MYT, UTC+8]

About the Workshop

Today’s reservoir characterisation and modelling challenges extend to other complex reservoirs such as tight reservoirs, unconventionals, which have its own complex and specific characterisation and modelling techniques. New methodologies and workflows have been developed in recent years to further advance reservoir characterisation and modelling, including technological advancements especially in uncertainty realisation, assisted history matching, multiple realisations, subsurface to surface, and development optimisation. However, the industry needs to be ready as the growth of these advancements requires deep insights from all disciplines, operators, service companies, research and development entities, and academics. This technical workshop will examine current challenges and the latest developments and will discuss practical solutions to overcome them.

Workshop Objectives

The workshop objectives are to share latest technologies, algorithms, workflows, and development in reservoir characterisation and modelling, exchange of information, ideas, and present case studies as well as lessons learnt from ongoing or past studies.
