About the Ideathon
Our ideathon in an opportunity to connect and meet YPs from across the world. You will be assigned teams to come together and work as a team to tackle sustainability issues in the oil and gas industry.
The event will kick off on Saturday 6 November where we will give introductory and founding sessions from keynote speakers before you are allocated to teams. You will the have one week to work together to build your ideas.
Are You...
✔ a Young Professional or a Student SPE member?
✔ an engineer with a background in Energy and O&G disciplines?
✔ passionate in making the O&G industry and the Earths’ energy systems more sustainable?
✔ motivated and inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals?
✔ a creative and active thinker with solution-oriented attitude?
✔ willing to learn something new and to improve yourself while improving our Industry, Community and Society?
✔ interested in some friendly and fun competition to meet like-minded SPE members?
Participation
As this is a team assigned initiative and aims to have a diverse group of participants, so spaces for the ideathon will be limited. To sign up for this please contact us at ypcongress@spe.org
You will be expected to attend the two sessions on November 6 and November 13 and be dedicated to working in your team across the week.
Participation in the YP Bootcamp is not required for those participating in the Ideathon, though we hope that you are able to make the most of these sessions when you can, or on demand after the event.
