This event brings together various international groups within SPE to host over a week of innovation, collaboration and networking, all with a focus on supporting the future of the industry and those who will make that future possible.

The event will consist of an “Ideathon” encouraging teams of YPs from around the world to work on the biggest challenges facing the industry. Teams will have a week to collaborate and showcase their ideas. During that week we will also host a series of webinars and training sessions to explore key topics, share best practices and give essential skills.

Ideathon

YPs from all over the world are invited to participate in our Ideathon. Selected participants will be put into groups and have one week to develop feasible solutions to sustainability challenges facing our industry which will be presented to a panel of sustainability experts.

YP Bootcamp

Across the week will be a series of webinars, panel sessions, and training videos open to all to attend for free. Our sessions are aimed to help YPs in their careers.

Sessions will explore hot topics in the industry, best practices for SPE Sections, and also soft skills training.

We will also hear updates from SPE Section members to build on our international community.

Sustainability Panel

The final day of our session will include a sustainability panel that invites key figures in the industry to discuss the topics pivotal to YPs. During this session we will also be announcing the winners of the YP Ideathon!
