Thank you for attending the SPE Workshop.
Plan your attendance to other SPE events in your region or technical area.
At this SPE Workshop we looked at the most current learnings inside the Montney and Duvernay formations, which are positioned to lead the world in sustainable and responsible oil and gas production.
Canada ranks fourth in global gas production and the Montney accounts for almost half of that gas supply from Canadian wells, and nearly 8% of global gas reserves. “So Yah, the Montney is all the rage!” However, the Duvernay is no less a contender for great innovation in even more challenging spaces! As one of the premier liquids-rich shale plays, the Duvernay has the potential to produce roughly three times the marketable oil compared to the Montney.
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
The agenda includes research-based, field-tested industry topics so attendees receive current and relevant technical knowledge.
SPE workshops are highly focused on a given technical topic and provide attendees with an in-depth review in a short amount of time.
Discover a collaborative learning experience, whilst connecting with peers facing similar business and technology challenges.
The Montney/Duvernay workshop focused itself across the landscape of learnings from downhole completions, surface requirements and infrastructure, to the ever-increasing focus on delivering cleaner energy while caring for the environment.
