Admission Policy

• All registered attendees are required to provide the following documents for verification of registration and legitimate business to enter and access the event venue:

- Badge collection pass / email (with your unique QR code and badge number)
- Valid and official photo identification card/document
- Formal business card or staff photo identification (for professionals) or student photo identification and university enrolment verification

Failure to present the necessary identification documents for verification will result in non-admission.

• Badges are required for access into the event areas and must be worn at all times during event days.
• Event badges are strictly non-transferable.
• Use of a badge by a person not named on the badge is grounds for removal and confiscation.
• SPE reserves the right to pre-qualify and verify all attendees for registration and legitimate business before providing further admission information

Event Statement & Code of Conduct

SPE Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) 2022 (“Event”) is organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (“Event Organiser” or “SPE”) and provides an industry platform for participants to undertake legitimate business activities and to promote knowledge transfer and technology sharing in an educational learning environment.

The Event adheres to SPE’s Event Code of Conduct (“Code of Conduct”). At SPE events, industry professionals come together from across the globe to discuss technical innovations and advancements in the energy sector, and to network with one another. SPE values the participation of all industry professionals at this Event, and seeks to provide them with a respectful, harassment-free and inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, ancestry, citizenship status, age, gender, sexual orientation, and others. At the same time, all participants are expected to be respectful and courteous to others throughout the Event.

By attending and participating in this Event, you agree that you have read and will follow the Code of Conduct. Defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials and/or language are strictly prohibited.

The Organiser takes the position that anyone with a legitimate reason to attend the Event should not disrupt or negatively impact upon others. Should this happen, the Organiser will take steps to prevent the continuation of any such actions.

The Organiser reserves the right to exclude or remove anyone from the Event who does not comply with this Event Statement and the Code of Conduct or who it reasonably considers is likely to break the Code of Conduct or who is prohibited from attending under any applicable sanctions, laws or regulations, or otherwise at the Organiser’s sole discretion. Should any protest be considered to be disruptive in the reasonable opinion of the Organiser, then the Organiser reserves the right to respond in the appropriate manner as set out in this Event Statement & Code of Conduct.

Registration Terms & Conditions

By registering for this event, participants consent to allow SPE to store and process the information submitted below and to provide participants with information about this event in accordance to SPE'S Privacy Policy; accept the Registration Terms & Conditions; and agree to be bound by participants. Participants can unsubscribe at any time by sending the request to spekl@spe.org.

Participants have chosen to participate in APOGCE 2022 understand that SPE will implement, and participants agree to abide by all, preventative measures to minimise the spread of COVID-19. Notwithstanding SPE’s measures and participants’ compliance, participants acknowledge that SPE cannot guarantee that participants will not contract COVID-19. In exchange for allowing participants’ participation at the APOGCE 2022, participants agree to release SPE, its employees, directors, officers and agents, from any claim or damages arising from or relating to COVID-19 resulting from the participation at the APOGCE 2022.

1. Registration Fee

   • Fee DOES NOT include accommodation. SPE will provide details of recommended hotels upon receipt of your registration.
   • Registration is non-transferable without written notification to SPE.
   • Registration of participation will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an acceptable employer’s letter of guarantee.
   • SPE reserves the right to cancel the registration if no payment is received prior to or on the date of the event.
   • Full fee is charged regardless of the length of time the Participant attends the event and cannot be pro-rated.

2. Taxes

   • Fees are made free and clear of, and without any deduction or withholding for and on account of, any taxes, duties or other deductions. Any such deduction or withholding, if required by the laws of any country are the sole responsibility of the participant.

3. Cancellation Policy

   • A processing fee of USD 150.00 will be charged for cancellation received 27 September 2022.
   • No refund for cancellation received after 27 September 2022.
   • Participants who failed to attend will not be eligible for a refund.
   • Cancellation must be notified in writing to SPE. Email your cancellation request to spekl@spe.org.

4. Health and Safety

   • Participants agree to adhere to policy and procedures regarding COVID-19 to ensure the health and safety of all participants. These policies may include, but are not limited to, wearing a mask while on property, maintaining social distancing, and refraining from physical contact with other participants on-site. All rules and guidelines will be according to the local government’s regulations in which the event takes place and the event venue facility.
   • Participants who do not comply with the rules and guidelines will not be permitted to enter or remain in the event venue.

5. Privacy Policy

   • SPE cares about the protection of participants’ personal information. SPE complies with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, in collecting and processing your data. SPE’s Privacy Policy describes the information practices regarding how SPE collects, uses, discloses, or transfers the Personal Information that participants share with SPE or that SPE collect about participants when participants attend one of SPE events, visit SPE websites, or use SPE mobile applications. 6. Disclaimer

   • SPE reserves the right to change the speaker(s), date(s) and/or to cancel the event should circumstances beyond its control arises.
   • SPE will not be liable to participants for any damages, costs, losses or expenses of any kind incurred or suffered by participants as a result of or in relation to SPE modifying, postponing or cancelling the event or any part of the event.
