In the era of global warming and severe environmental challenges coupled with rising energy demands, it is critical to find a balance between energy generated from fossil fuels versus other resources, in order to reduce carbon emissions. To compete with other types of energy, the hydrocarbon industry must implement the best-optimised processes and technologies for the drilling and completion of wells.
