Message from the Program Committee Chairpersons

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are excited to welcome you to attend the 2023 SPE Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference (LACPEC), to be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, 14-15 June 2023. 

LACPEC is the preeminent technical event for Exploration and Production technology in Latin America and the Caribbean region, showcasing innovative field applications and leading-edge research and development in the energy industry. Technical papers and panel sessions will focus on “Engineered opportunities: Technologies shaping the energy landscape”, providing insights on how science, resources, and people are advancing energy solutions in the region.

The Program Committee invites you to submit your technical advancement, case study insights, or practical application as a conference technical paper.  Please submit your paper proposal online at the SPE LACPEC website, for an opportunity to present it to an audience of your peers at LACPEC 2023. The site lists the topical categories for this conference in all asset types (conventional, unconventional, heavy oil, offshore, gas, etc.).

LACPEC 2023 will feature about 100 technical paper presentations, posters, and panel sessions over a 2-day event. Your participation is crucial to continuing the success of previous events, we cordially invite you to join LACPEC as an attendee, an author, or as an exhibitor – to network with industry colleagues and to have the opportunity to join the conversation on emerging technologies related to the energy sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.
