Message from the Program Chairperson

Dear Colleagues,

We, as oilfield chemists and geochemists, continue to rise to the challenge of developing environmentally sustainable products and methods for all aspects of the petroleum lifecycle.  The 2023 SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry seeks to bring to light all oilfield chemistry innovations, with particular attention given to those solutions to our greatest challenges in sustainability.

Fifty years of SPE Oilfield Chemistry conferences (1973-2023) have witnessed the surge or resurgence of many important oilfield chemistry topics.  The 2023 SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry expands upon previous conferences by soliciting proposals on CO2 and H2 Storage while reintroducing Geothermal Chemistry from the early years of the symposium.  Meanwhile, this event will continue to be the ideal event to share chemical applications for oil and gas operations from drilling to processing.

The 2023 SPE International Conference on Oilfield Chemistry Program Committee invites paper proposals showcasing your technology advancements and looks forward to your participation in the upcoming symposium.
