The SPE North America Student Symposium is a massive event put together by SPE International Students across North America.
This year, the SPE North America Student Symposium was organized collectively by Colorado School of Mines and University of Wyoming. Along with Students from all over North America!

This event consists of 2 days of programming
- Day 1 will feature a series of technical sessions that primarily focus on the theme “Optimizing the Development & Production of Unconventional Reservoirs“ and an exhibition where students can go mix and network with professionals and companies of interest.
Keynote speakers include Chris Wright, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Liberty Energy and Med Kamal, 2023 SPE President!
We will also be having a leadership panel as well as discipline sessions including talks from Ovintiv, Extract Production and many more!
- Day 2 will consist of a Field Trip with Liberty Oilfield, and we are just finalizing those last minute details but we are sure it will be a fantastic experience!
