Submission Process
- Obtain necessary publication clearance and permission from your management
- Submit your proposal online by the deadline of 9 March 2023. During the submission process, you will have the option to select either:
- Abstract Only, if you intend to submit your proposal for presentation only
- Extended Abstract, if you intend to prepare a 4-6 pages manuscript
- Manuscript, if you intend to prepare a manuscript
- If your proposal is accepted and you wish to submit a manuscript for inclusion in the symposium proceedings, you will be required to submit it by 8 June 2023. Accepted manuscripts are published in OnePetro®, providing insights for your peers, and guidance for young professionals now and in the future.
- All authors and speakers will be required to prepare a presentation (PPT) for review and approval by 13 July 2023. Speakers will be provided with further guidelines in due time
Plagiarism Check
In an effort to further improve SPE’s technical quality standards, all submitted papers will be checked for plagiarism.
Please Note: SPE is adopting ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID), a widely accepted unique identifier for authors, giving them control over their content and eliminating ambiguities. All SPE authors will be required to have an ORCID iD during abstract submission starting 1 January 2023.
