Ford Brett

Ford Brett is CEO of PetroSkills.  Prior to joining PetroSkills in 1992, he worked with Amoco on drilling projects on six continents, and has consulted in over 45 countries.  He served on the Society of Petroleum Engineer’s board of Directors as Drilling and Completions Technical Director, and in 2010 served on the U.S. Department of Interior’s Macondo 30-day peer review panel, and in 2012 US National Academy of Engineering Committee that Evaluated the Effectiveness of Offshore Safety and Environmental Management Systems.  Mr. Brett has been granted over 30 U.S. and International patents, and in 1996, he was honored on work for improved drilling techniques with a nomination for the National Medal of Technology, the US Government’s highest technology award.

Secretary General
Gas Exporting Countries Forum

S. M. Hossein Adeli, is an economist, diplomat and academic with extensive government and private sector experience in energy, economics & international relations, holding a Ph.D. in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Economics. Dr. Adeli assumed office as Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) on January 1st, 2014.  He held Government positions in Iran such as Advisor to the Minister of Oil on International Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic and Energy Affairs, Governor of Central Bank, Advisor to President of Iran as well as Iranian Ambassador to Japan, Canada and UK.   Dr. Adeli has been instrumental in economic reforms after the war in Iran, serving as chief negotiator of major pipeline and off-shore projects. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Iranian Gas Export Company.  After Government service, in 2005, he established a non-Governmental Think Tank, “Ravand Institute for Economic and International Studies” – the first private Think Tank of Iran, focusing on economics, energy, international studies and environment.  He is a recipient of Japan’s Emperor’s Order of “The Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star”.
