SPE Artificial Lift and HSSE Conferences Return to Latin America

Richardson, Texas, USA (21 October 2014) – Plans are under way for the second edition of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Artificial Lift Conference and the SPE Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Conference in Latin America during Spring 2015.

The SPE Artificial Lift Conference-Latin America and Caribbean will be held 27–28 May, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. This event will combine all aspects of the artificial lift system and all the interrelated components and methodologies, thereby allowing participants to see the full interactive circle of technologies and competencies. The conference includes an exhibition that will showcase some of the latest technologies from the global exploration and production industry. The SPE Latin America and Caribbean Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability Conference will be held 7–8 July, in Bogotá, Colombia. The theme of this regional conference is “Sharing Best HSE and Sustainability Practices for Balancing Economic Growth, Social Development and Environmental Protection.” Designed to serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, this event also aims to address the regulatory framework and social challenges in the exploration and production industry in the Latin America and Caribbean region.
