Richardson, Texas USA (August 3, 2015) – The Latin American and Caribbean Petroleum Engineering Conference (LACPEC) hosted by the Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE) will be held 18-20, November in Quito, Ecuador. At the preeminent exploration and production event in the region, attendees can plan to get acquainted with Quito’s cultural heritage sites, visit the Center of the World, and other tourist attractions. With a theme of “People, Planet, and Technology: Innovative Energy Solutions to Challenging Environments,” LACPEC provides the ideal opportunity to learn about emerging trends, explore technical and social challenges related to the upstream petroleum sector, and network with key experts in the field.
This year’s program committee received a record number of 820 technical paper proposals. This level of interest and enthusiasm has helped create an impressive technical program for the conference, including more than 200 presentations from leading industry experts. View the detailed program.
