Dr. Robert W. Chase, Chair of the Marietta College Petroleum Engineering and Geology Department and current faculty advisor of their SPE student chapter, has coordinated a 10-day trip that will begin with 5 days in Florence followed by a 4-day trip to Rome and Pompeii. The students will begin by attending the 3-day annual SPE conference, tour the city and visit the Academia and Uffizi Art Galleries.
From there, it is off to Rome and Pompeii. The cost of the trip includes airfare, ground transportation, room, meals, and the opportunity to travel with a faculty and students from Marietta College.
