To assist in them maximizing the students’ exposure to the industry, they organized a Schlumberger core lab visit; participated in the World Petroleum Conference in Paris; field trips to Mania Causeway and Udhailiyah; attended the Middle East Drilling Technology Conference in Bahrain; attended IPTC in Qatar; visited Texas A&M University in Qatar; as well as visited Weatherford Yard.
They have overcome conflicting classroom schedules by holding the majority of their activities during school breaks or on weekends. In order to gain a higher level of activity sponsorship, they stepped up and organized impressive activities. Their plans include to become more active participants in SPE Young Professional and student visits to Weatherford Yard; visit the King Saud SPE Student Chapter; host Young Professional lectures at their university and participate in the SPE Saudi Symposium.
Congratulations King Fahd University SPE Student Chapter!
