Student Chapters provide the opportunity for SPE student members to exchange technical information and network with peers and industry professionals. Any group of SPE student members in good standing at a university can request to form a new chapter if they meet the requirements.
The Outstanding Student Chapter Award (OSC) is presented to the chapters whose programs, activities, and levels of participation during a single academic year distinguish that chapter from others. Chapters can also receive Gold Standard designation if they accomplish an admirable level of activity.
