Eni Norge has awarded IKM Testing a contract for services at the Goliat field in the Barents Sea. The contract is valued at more than USD 80.6 million and has an initial duration of 3 years, with two options for 2-year extensions. Scope of work includes both subsea engineering and work on the platform itself, before and after the field comes on stream. The commissioning phase will start immediately, involving projects such as completion of subsea pipelines. During the production phase, IKM will do maintenance, inspection, and pressure testing.
