Mike Utsler, SPE, COO at Woodside, will be leaving the company and handing over the position to Meg O’Neill in May. Utsler joined Woodside in 2013 as COO. He was president of the BP Gulf Coast Restoration Organization before that.
O’Neill’s most recent role was vice president–Africa at ExxonMobil’s Development Company. She has several years’ operations experience at ExxonMobil gained through positions in Indonesia, Norway, Canada, and the USA. O’Neill holds dual bachelor degrees in ocean engineering and chemical engineering, and a master’s degree in ocean systems management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
