Equinor Energy

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Equinor Energy a drilling permit for Wells 35/10-4 S, 35/10-4 A, and 35/10-4 B. The wells will be drilled approximately 7 km southwest of the Vega Sør field from the Deepsea Bergen drilling facility. The drilling program for all three wells relates to the drilling of two wildcat wells and one appraisal well in License 630 on the Norwegian Shelf. The area in this license consists of a part of Block 35/1 and a part of Block 35/10. Equinor Energy is the operator, with an ownership interest of 60%, while licensee Wellesley Petroleum has an ownership interest of 40%. Wells 35/10-4 S, 35/10-4 A, and 35/10-4 B are the first wells to be drilled in the license.
