Expro appointed Alistair Geddes (left in picture) as chief operating officer. He was previously executive vice president, responsible for product lines, technology, and business development since 2014, after joining Expro in 2011 as president for strategy, resource development and support. Geddes has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He started his career with BP and held senior management roles at Mobil/Exxon Mobil, BG Group, and Weatherford. He joined Expro from Weatherford, where he was the vice president for the Asia Pacific region at the time of leaving. Geddes holds a BSc in chemical engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
Keith Palmer, SPE, has been promoted to executive vice president–product lines and will be responsible for Expro’s product lines, technology, and group engineering. He previously led the company’s North America and Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States regions and more recently, the Asia Pacific region. Palmer joined Expro in 2005 following a 25-year career with NOV and Schlumberger where he held management and operational positions in the US, Mexico, and Venezuela. He holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BSEE from Rochester Institute of Technology.
