Pentair launched an electronic surface sensing thermostat for hazardous areas. The Raychem ETS-05 thermostat provides temperature control and monitoring for heat-tracing installations. Available in two versions, the ETS-05-L2-E is for temperatures up to 199°C, while the ETS-05-H2-E can be used for temperatures up to 499°C. The maximum nominal load is 32 A for both thermostats. It has a configurable fail-safe mode, an LED local-status indicator, and an increased terminal size of 6 mm2, which enables power and heat-tracing cables to be connected directly.
