Oceaneering promoted Clyde Hewlett to COO, Alan Curtis to senior vice president and CFO, and Eric Silva to senior vice president of operations support. Hewlett has 37 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, joining Oceaneering in 1988 as a project manager. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of subsea services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Curtis, who joined the company in 1995 as a financial controller, will be responsible for the oversight of its investor relations activities, corporate development, risk management policies, and facilities management. Since December, he has served as senior vice president of operations support. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&I University. Silva, who joined the company in February 2014 as vice president and chief information officer, will continue leading its informational technology department while assuming additional responsibility in human resources, supply chain management, and internal auditing. He has spent more than 30 years working in the oilfield service, chemical, energy, and oil and gas industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso.
