This year’s SPE Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) will take place in Bali, Indonesia, for the first time.
To be held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center on 20–22 October, the conference will highlight the theme of “Sustain and Gain: Bending the Curve.” It will discuss challenges affecting the region, such as increased demand for energy, management of mature fields, and development of unconventional resources.
Pertamina, Indonesia’s national oil company, is the official sponsor of 2015 APOGCE and SKK Migas, the country’s oil and gas regulatory body, is the official supporter. The conference is co-organized by the Society of Indonesian Petroleum Engineers.
SPE representatives recently met with Amien Sunaryadi, chairman of SKK Migas, and Dwi Soetjipto, president director and chief executive officer of Pertamina, to formalize both organizations’ support of the conference.
