Mercury Partitioning Modeling

Maxoil Process Solutions developed SilverMax, a tool for modeling elemental mercury partitioning in gas process systems. Mercury can affect key production areas, including regulatory/compliance and asset integrity. The modeling of mercury partitioning throughout various stages of the upstream process is undertaken to devise and implement effective mitigation strategies. The predictive software calculates the distribution and partitioning of mercury into hydrocarbon gas and liquids, acid gas, glycols, water, and amines and can be used for single point flashes (i.e., three-phase production separators, system mapping, and sensitivity models for varying operating conditions and mercury concentrations).
