Amin H. Nasser was promoted to president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Saudi Aramco. Nasser had spent the past 7 years as the company’s senior vice president of upstream, overseeing exploration and production (E&P), oil and gas production, and processing activities. He joined the company in 1982 and has held technical and operational assignments with the production engineering, drilling, and reservoir management departments. He was appointed chief petroleum engineer in 2004, executive director of petroleum engineering and developments, and vice president of petroleum E&P in 2006. Nasser holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
