Accommodation
Accommodations are NOT included in the registration fee. Contact the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown directly at +1(817) 335-7000; or by using the RESERVATION LINK to reserve your room at the negotiated rate of USD 159 plus taxes per night. Rates at the hotel are offered 3 days before and after the workshop, based on availability. You MUST identify yourself as an HSES Focus on the Future attendee or reference the group code SPE WORKSHOP FOCUS ON THE FUTURE. After 5 October hotel reservations will be subject to availability at the prevailing rates, unless the block sells out before that date.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be received by SPE in writing on or before 14 July 2022 for refund of registration fees, less USD 75 administration fee. Send cancellation requests to registration@spe.org. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER 14 July 2022.

I understand that the World Health Organization has declared the novel coronavirus and any permutations (“COVID-19”) a worldwide pandemic, and that COVID-19 is extremely contagious and spreads mainly from person-to-person contact.
I have voluntarily registered to participate in the Realistic Applications of Data-Driven Analytics to Petroleum Industry Workshop (the “Event”) organized by Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Inc. (“SPE”). I understand and acknowledge that my participation in the Event may expose me to one or more persons who are infected with or been exposed to COVID-19. I further understand that SPE will implement measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19 at the Event, and I agree to comply with all of SPE’s rules, guidelines, and instructions accordingly. Notwithstanding SPE’s preventative measures and my compliance, I acknowledge that SPE cannot guarantee that I will not contract COVID-19.
In consideration for SPE’s allowing my participation in the Event, I RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE, AND INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS, to the maximum extent permitted by law, SPE, any affiliated, controlled, or controlling entity of SPE, and any officer, director, trustee, member, fiduciary, agent, employee, representative, insurer, or attorney of those entities, including, but not limited to, any such persons participating in the Event or facilitating my participation in the Event (collectively, the “SPE Parties”), from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO COVID-19 AS A RESULT OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT OR THE NEGLIGENCE, ACTS, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY OF THE SPE PARTIES.
I have read this release, fully understand it, and agree to it freely, knowingly, and voluntarily, without any inducement, coercion, or duress. This release is governed by Texas law without regard to its rules regarding conflict of laws.
Visa Information
Attendees from countries that require a US visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Create an official SPE invitation letter that you can print and use in obtaining a visa. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.
