SPE has arranged a room block at The San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center and at the Hilton Galveston Island Resort to save you time and money. As a result, SPE is able to increase attendee benefits to provide a great experience, while keeping expenses low. Revenue from this event will be invested back into SPE and will support many other Society programs. The SPE group rate has been extended until 26 July 2022, after which the group rate will be subject to availability. Rates are valid three days before and after the event on an available basis.

- Complimentary self-parking. Valet parking is 24 USD per night.
The side entrance to the Galveston Island Convention Center is conveniently located about 200 feet from this hotel.

From the San Luis Resort, go to the ground level (G), by door located at the back of the hotel. Drop-off area at the Convention Center is the east-side entrance.

SPE members receive discounted car rental rates. If you rent a car, we encourage you to book early to ensure availability.
Visa Information
Attendees from countries that require a US visa for entry are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. Create an official SPE invitation letter that you can print and use in obtaining a visa. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa, nor does it commit SPE to assist you in obtaining a visa.

COVID-19 Practices at the Symposium
- The health and safety of each SPE forum participants is our highest priority. To ensure this commitment, you will observe the following safety practices during your time at the forum.
- Optional colored wristbands that you may wear to note your social distancing comfort level while networking at the forum.
- Red – No contact. 6 feet apart. No exceptions.
- Yellow – No contact. Still being cautious.
- Green – Hi-fives and handshakes. Frequent hand washing.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the resort.
- Additional pump bottles available within and outside the General Session Room.
- Disinfectant wipes available to use on shared audio and video equipment such as microphones and the laptop keypad and surface. (do not use liquid or spray on any of the equipment)
