The SPE North America Student Symposium is a massive event put together by SPE International Students across North America.
This year, the SPE North America Student Symposium is organized collectively by the University of Texas, Austin. Along with Students from all over North America!

This event consists of 2 days of programming
- Day 1 features a series of technical sessions that primarily focus on the theme "Shaping the Energy Industry of Tomorrow: The Workforce of the Future"; and an exhibition where students can go mix and network with professionals and companies of interest.
Keynote speakers include Matt Kovich, Senior Manager, Facilities & Construction at Ovintiv and Terry Palisch, 2024 SPE President!
We will also be having a careers panel as well as discipline sessions including talks from ExxonMobil, Chevron and many more! - Day 2 sees students participating in a Field Trip to Core Labs - There will be a core viewing and other technical presentations.
