Charles Gundrum

My name is Charles Gundrum, I am from Galveston, Texas. I graduated from Ball High School and Galveston College this May. I graduated with highest honors as well as earning an Associate’s Degree - Summa Cum Laude from Galveston College and multiple certifications. While in high school, I played a variety of sports including football and powerlifting, and participated in clubs including National Honor Society, Interact Club and National Math Honor Society.

This summer I am working as a lifeguard and as a valet at a local hotel. When I am not working, I enjoy weightlifting and working out, bowling and spending time at the beach with my friends.

In the fall, I will attend the University of Texas at Austin, where I will study petroleum engineering, as well as, minoring in business. I hope to become an energy engineer focused on finding more efficient ways to sustainably.
