Kayode Sanni

Kayode Sanni is an graduate student pursuing dual Master's degrees at the University of Oklahoma, where he is studying Petroleum Engineering at the prestigious Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy and Data Science and Analytics at the esteemed Gallogly College of Engineering.

He successfully completed his bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Nigeria. During his undergraduate years, Kayode's passion for leadership and involvement in the academic community shone brightly. He assumed the role of Membership Chairperson for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), FUPRE Chapter, where his dedicated contributions led the chapter to receive the prestigious SPE Presidential Award for Outstanding Student Chapter.

One of his most notable accomplishments during his undergraduate studies was the development of a groundbreaking "New Production Rate Model for Wellhead Choke" specifically tailored for Niger Delta Oil Wells.
Kayode's thirst for knowledge and commitment to the energy industry continued to evolve as he embarked on a professional journey. Before pursuing graduate studies, he gained valuable hands-on experience as a Cementing Engineer at Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited. In this role, he made significant contributions by optimizing cementing operations through the use of advanced simulation software.

Kayode's current research focus centers on enhancing well integrity through comprehensive studies on cement-casing debonding and post-debonding studies. He possesses a strong desire to explore emerging technologies and innovative solutions in the energy industry, with a particular interest in harnessing data science applications to optimize energy exploration and production. His vision extends to pioneering the integration of renewable energy sources with traditional oil and gas operations, fostering a more sustainable and eco-friendly energy future.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Kayode is a dedicated individual who finds joy in preaching the gospel and extending a helping hand to those in need. His passion for positive impact and commitment to excellence make him a remarkable scholar and aspiring industry leader
