The Society of Petroleum Engineers Europe Ltd. is a not-for-profit, charitable organization devoted to the safe and efficient exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas resources for the benefit of all humans. SPE Europe is one of the entities of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Stichting, organized under the laws of The Netherlands, which is the governing organization for SPE worldwide.
Every month SPE will be interviewing different sections within Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to find out about their SPE operations.
This month we heard from the Hungary Section.
The SPE Offshore Europe conference and exhibition attracts a global audience of engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts to share ideas and debate the issues of the moment in the upstream industry.
The American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME) has developed a new tool for sharing best practices in engineering education sustainability, mainly at the university level. Sustainable Engineering Education Key Resource Repository (SEEKRR) is a living database intended for additions and works across several disciplines. The AIME Sustainability Steering Committee will review submissions for inclusion. SPE’s committee point person is Johana Dunlop. Access the tool on the AIME website. If you would like to learn more about the tool or the committee contact AIME Executive Director, Michele Lawrie-Munro, at lawriemunro@aimehq.org or 1-303-325-5185.
