The SPE North America Student Symposium is a massive event put together by SPE International Students across North America. This year, the SPE North America Student Symposium is organized collectively by Louisiana State University, along with students from all over North America! This event consists of two days of programming, as well as the North America PetroBowl.
Event Schedule
Day 1 | Thursday, 26 February: Technical sessions that primarily focus on the theme of Empowering the Next Generation: Technology, Talent, and Transition, and an exhibition where students can go mix and network with professionals and companies of interest.

Day 2 | Friday, 27 February: Field Trip
Day 3 | Saturday, 28 February: North America Petrobowl Championship – register your team.*
*PetroBowl registration is separate from NASS registration.

The SPE North America Student Symposium is an annual student conference organized by SPE International students across North America. The symposium presents an opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge of the oil and gas industry through the insights and experiences of industry leaders and advocates. It also provides participants with a myriad of networking opportunities, as students, faculty, and industry experts from around North America will be participating. The theme for this year’s symposium is Empowering the Next Generation: Technology, Talent, and Transition.
