Public Awareness
Many sections hold community relations programs to provide educators, the news media, government officials, and other opinion leaders with facts about the profession and industry.
Energy4me®
Our energy education outreach program offers presentations and classroom activities. In addition, sections can donate copies of the Oil and Natural Gas book and the presentation kits to local schools.
Young Members
Many sections plan events and activities geared towards young professionals and university students to provide academic and career guidance. Check with your section to see if they offer a young professional program.

Volunteer
Become a volunteer and use your knowledge and experience to influence SPE programs and activities. As a volunteer, you can enhance your leadership skills while meeting and working with other SPE members from around the globe. Become an eMentor
SPE's eMentoring program gives members a way to share professional insights and practical career advice with young professionals, and guidance on academic direction and career choice with students. In addition to being mentored themselves, young professionals also have a unique opportunity to serve as mentors to students who seek the guidance of younger professionals as they transition to the working world.
