Inaugural Beyond the Borders Event Empowers Young Professionals To Break Boundaries and Shape Africa’s Energy Future
SPE Africa's first Beyond the Borders program, held during the 2025 Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition in Lagos, brought together young professionals to foster collaboration, leadership, and professional growth. The event featured a well-curated series of activities aimed at young professionals' development and networking—the two key pillars of the SPE BtB initiative.
BtB Africa consisted of YPs from 11 SPE sections within seven countries, forging collaboration and innovation beyond geographical limits. The event served as an awakening of YP collaboration across Africa’s energy landscape.
