Benjamin Petrie
Hi, I’m Ben Petrie! I’m currently in my third year at Marietta College, studying Petroleum Engineering. I’m incredibly passionate about the future of the oil and gas industry, a drive that’s only grown stronger after spending my last two summers working in the field with Harvest Midstream in George West, Texas, and Anchorage, Alaska.
When I’m not focused on my coursework, I love staying involved on campus. I’m an active member of the Student Government Association (SGA), as well as several industry organizations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE), and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). Outside of the engineering world, you can usually find me analyzing my next move on the chess board, playing music, or hitting the gym.
