Sonnet Robertson

My name is Sonnet Robertson, and I am a senior at The Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where I study Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. Apart from my studies I am involved in multiple clubs on-and-off campus including: The Monongahela Rockhounds Geology Club, the American Association of Drilling Engineers, the newly founded Slippery Rock University chapter of Women in Engineering, and the National Society of Petroleum Engineers as well as the Slippery Rock chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, where I serve as secretary.

Jenin Hammad

Jenin Hammad is entering her sophomore year as a Petroleum Engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin. She is an active member in organizations such as: The Longhorn Pep Band, Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Association of Drilling Engineers, and American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Throughout the summer, she has been taking summer courses to get ahead in her studies while working as a lifeguard at her local pool. Jenin plans to start pursuing a minor in Sustainable Energy to gain a deeper understanding with the rise of low carbon solutions in the oil and gas industry.

Alec Bollinger

Alec Bollinger is a senior Petroleum and Environmental Engineering student attending Marietta College in Southeast Ohio. At Marietta College, he is an active participant in many clubs such as SPE, AADE, the Future Energy Producers of America, and Geology Club, where he holds respective officer positions. Alec is also a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity where he will serve as president for the 2022-2023 academic year. Throughout the summer, Alec has been interning with Hess Corporation as a production engineer in 2021 and as a process engineer in 2022.

Mark Jeremiah

Mark Jeremiah is entering his senior year as an undergraduate Petroleum Engineering student in Louisiana State University’s Craft and Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering. In his junior year, he served as the President of LSU’s SPE Student Chapter during which they won the Student Chapter Excellence Award. Today he continues active participation in both the SPE and AADE student chapters.

Nicholas Bryan

Nicholas Bryan is a third-year undergraduate student at the Colorado School of Mines studying Petroleum Engineering. He serves as the Vice President - External in the CSM SPE chapter. He is also involved in CSM's AADE and ARMA chapters.

Augustus Downing

Augustus Downing is 18 years old and an aspiring Petroleum Engineer at Texas A&M University, hailing from Churchill Fulshear High School in Fulshear, Texas. He has a very entrepreneurial mind and prides himself on his ambition and creative problem-solving skills, and, accordingly, is entering Texas A&M with over a full semester worth of college credit hours.

Johnathon Henke

John Henke is a second-year student attending Colorado School of Mines with his two older siblings in Golden, CO. John’s father exposed him to the energy industry at a young age and he ultimately decided to seek a career in oil and gas as a result of his desire to end energy poverty in the third world.
